About: The Freemen Institute (TFI) is an educational and policy center concerned with preserving the foundations of liberty and the continuation of a free republic. The institute seeks to highlight and pursue research and policies consistent with the constitution of the United States and the original intent of the Founding Fathers. According to an old adage; a people must from time to time, refresh themselves at the well-spring of their origin, lest they perish.

Mission: According to George Washington, “The constitution...approaches nearer to perfection than any government hitherto instituted among men.” The Founders of TFI believe that citizens must understand their rights and should be disposed to defend them. A responsible and informed electorate is necessary in order to maintain the cause of liberty and to cause effective change. TFI is thus focused on advancing the basic principles of equality, unalienable rights, political and economic sovereignty, free speech and markets, limited government, personal responsibility, justice, virtue, and moderation. We call upon on all responsible citizens to become actively engaged in defending the constitution of the United States and your rights, liberty, and property.

Commentary: Contributors to the institute are diverse. They include everyday working professionals, scientists, professors, and business owners. Dr. Adam Murdock is the original founder and main contributor to TFI. Dr. Paul Murdock is also a co-founder and contributor. If you would like to learn more about becoming a member and contributor to TFI please contact us. For only when a man casts off all the chains of slavery can he truly be pronounced free!
